Before choosing a business, most customers first type the brand’s name into Google and look at what comes up: reviews, ratings, news, social media accounts. Online reputation management is the regular work done so as not to leave this first impression to chance.
At Soft Ajans we treat reputation not as a promise of “deleting negative content” but as monitoring, supporting with correct information and managing through official channels. We write honestly from the start what can be changed and what is only in the hands of the platform or the court.
What Does Online Reputation Management Cover?
- Review monitoring and replies: Reviews on the Google Business Profile and other platforms are monitored in one place. A tone, time and approval flow is set for positive, negative and unfair reviews. For example replies, see our guide how to reply to Google reviews.
- Collecting real reviews: Setting up the process of asking satisfied customers for reviews. Our 30-day review plan is an example of this process; we described ways to increase reviews in how to increase Google reviews.
- Examining the brand-name search: Identifying which results appear on the first page when your brand and authorized people are searched by name; putting missing, old or wrong information on a fix list.
- Strengthening your own assets: Making your website, Google Business Profile and social media accounts consistent, current and visible in search. This goes together with local SEO.
- Platform notifications: The correct use, with evidence, of the platforms’ official notification forms for reviews and content thought to break the rules.
- Crisis preparation: A short written plan showing who does what, who approves and which message is used in a sudden negative development.
- Reporting: A monthly report on review rating, review count, reply time and the change in the brand search.
For a general view of the topic read what digital reputation is, and for the rules on removal our guide how to remove Google reviews.
Important: Google does not allow a business owner to delete a review themselves; only reviews that break policy can be reported, and the decision belongs to Google. That is why no agency can guarantee that a review or a piece of content will be removed.
How Do We Work?
1. Assessment. We examine your reviews, ratings, the search results for your brand name and your social media presence; we compare with competitors.
2. Framework. We put in writing rules such as who replies to which reviews, in what time and in what tone, and whom to notify in which case.
3. Regular work. We monitor new reviews, prepare replies and submit them for your approval. We carry out the process of collecting real reviews and the work that strengthens the brand search with correct content.
4. Reporting. In the monthly report we show the review rating, review volume and the change in the brand search compared with the previous period. You are always the owner of the accounts.
What Do We Not Do?
To protect trust, there are things we deliberately do not do:
- Buying reviews or writing fake ones. It violates platform guidelines and puts your profile at risk.
- Promising that negative content will be removed. The decision is in the hands of platforms or judicial authorities.
- Giving legal advice or running lawsuits. For insult, defamation and personal data matters we recommend working with a lawyer; we collect evidence and help you coordinate the process.
- Interfering with a competitor’s accounts or reviews.
Who Is It For?
It suits businesses whose customers decide by looking at reviews and the brand search: clinics, hotels, restaurants, service businesses, e-commerce brands and those with several branches.
