According to Google Search Console data (web search), in the last 3 months compared with the previous 3, organic clicks rose from about 5,190 to 9,900 and impressions from about 329,000 to 630,000. Both grew about 1.9 times. Along with this growth, average position improved from 13.4 to 10.9, meaning that on the same searches the site appeared about 2.5 positions higher on average. The average click-through rate stayed flat at 1.6%; keeping the click-through rate while visibility grows shows that the extra impressions turned into real clicks.
One point needs to be stated clearly when reading this result: demand in tourism is seasonal. The two compared periods may fall under different seasonal conditions, so the difference should not be attributed to the work alone; to separate out the seasonal effect, a comparison with the same period of the previous year should be made as well. In Search Console’s daily chart, clicks fluctuate within the period; the distinct peaks point to periods of demand.
The figures come from the “Performance” report in Google Search Console, with the search type filter set to “Web”; values are rounded.
